perspective
(see
the very small white dot near the center?)
We are
indeed, a very glorious creation.
We have been given the ability
to think and to make choices.
More than that, we "must" think, plan,
and make choices.
But we are just that, His creation.
When we were created,
God intended for us to love Him, follow His will,
and trust in Him "above all else".
He loves us still,
and will continue to direct and guide us,
if we "want" Him to.
Even if we choose not to follow Him,
make no mistake, He will, like in times past,
allow events to occur that will show us
our need for Him and His will for us.
That is what an “all knowing”, loving Father would do.
Now let's put things into their proper perspective.

What does this picture above represent? -
perhaps one small brain cell in your vast intellect...
your ability to plan, to understand, to lead, to judge.
No, it represents a huge magnification of the earth
in one small part of the created universe.
How BIG is "your" God?
"Trust
in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight."
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight."
