In our
social interactions,
we have acquaintances, friends, close friends,
companions, followers, and perhaps, a partner.
we have acquaintances, friends, close friends,
companions, followers, and perhaps, a partner.
To each
of these we assign a different
level of commitment.
level of commitment.
A
companion is a friend that we like
to spend a decent amount of time with.
We become a follower of someone, or some organization,
when we support them and think about them often.
A partner requires an even greater amount of commitment.
You become a partner when your time is quite often their time
and you look to be with them over anyone else.

Where
does God fit into this hierarchy?
God
wants us to love Him with “all” of our heart,
“all” of our mind and “all” of our spirit and soul.
“all” of our mind and “all” of our spirit and soul.
That
sounds to me like
TOTAL COMMITMENT.
TOTAL COMMITMENT.
God our senior partner... we, His faithful servant,
a willing and joyful slave
to a merciful, loving, Creator and Master,
our LORD... who wants to share
His life with us.
We can
only be truly free, and be everything
we can be, by submitting ourselves to Him.
we can be, by submitting ourselves to Him.
