carefree...

carefree

I took this photo years ago
with an older point and shoot camera,
12X zoom fully extended.
It was also cropped quite a bit.
The young lady was playing on top of
a dinosaur sculpture (if my memory is correct).
She turned her head quickly
to look behind her and I snapped the shutter.
Her flying hair was back lit.
This was shot at a craft fair
near a small rural town.
Even though the quality and size
of the photo does not allow for much
of a display or a hard print,
it is still one of my favorite "people" captures.
I titled it... carefree.
We should all be allowed to be
so carefree and happy to just be alive.
