Just relaxing after a hard day's work...
wait a minute... it is only 9:30 AM.

"Kittens are born with their eyes shut.
They open them in about six days,
take a look around, then close them again
for the better part of their lives."

- Stephen Baker

“Who among us hasn't envied a cat's ability
to ignore the cares of daily life
and to relax completely?"

Without it, he would never be able

nor could the world see the man within."

"Smile every chance you get.
Not because life has been easy,
perfect, or exactly as you had anticipated,
but because you choose to be happy
and grateful for all the good things
you do have and all the problems
you know you don't have."

"If we were logical,
the future would be bleak, indeed.
But we are more than logical.
We are human beings, and we have faith,
and we have hope, and we can work."

perspective...

smaller camera

I recently purchased a smaller camera...
the Lumix LX7.
I wanted a “carry” camera,
something small enough to put into a pocket
that still took high quality images in RAW.

This little camera has a wonderful lens
and most of the features I was looking for...
plus the price was right.
Nevertheless, no matter how good the camera,
what matters is the photographer's perspective...
his heart, his emotion, his spirit,
his unique way of seeing.

It is about the gift not the package.

Surfaces hide so much..."

it can outlast anything.
Love still stands when all else has fallen."

She is there,

We start by believing.
