peace amid the storm...

peace amid the storm

When I laid down in the field
beside this flower,
as the storm approached overhead,
I thought about how stoic
and completely at peace it was
looking upward beyond the clouds.

Thinking about it later
I realized that we need not look
any further than within us
for His peace is always with us.

And we can reflect His light
around us to help others find
their own peace within Him.

Whatever the storm
you are experiencing within your own life,
turn to Him... rely on Him...
trust in Him to bring you through it.

He is with you always.
