Thank you Lee Keefer for "capturing the human creator of this creation". Yes... all praise DOES belong to God for the content of Larry's heartfelt, soul-filled, Spirit led posts here. The lasting legacy he is leaving is truly done for the glory of God in the name of Jesus Christ; HOWEVER, even though he "could", God would not publish this on His own. God uses us like He's using Larry and I'm thankful this very appropriate picture of him on this day's blog.
I like the sermon illustration of the pastor who once bought a large piece of land that was over run by several acres of weeds, gopher holes, and rundown buildings. It was anything but attractive, but the past spent months plowing, planting, and doing repairs.
When the project was complete the pastor received a visit from a nearby farmer who said, "Well, preacher, it looks like you and God really did some work here."
The pastor, wiping the sweat from his face, answered, "It's interesting you should say that. But I've got to tell you -- you should have seen this place when God had it all to Himself!"
