His love for us

I pray every day to grow to love our God
with all my heart, and mind, soul, and spirit,
in all my strength.
But it must be remembered
that it is not our love for God,
but it is because of “His love for us”,
that He sent His Son to be the way
to take away our sins (1 John 4:10).
