growing through conflict
At times we find ourselves
walking down a tight, narrow
and debris filled path.
Our thoughts are dark
and we are without joy.
Everything appears hopeless
and useless.
We look into the mirror of our souls
and we do not like what we see.
Depression and/or anger may follow.
I have been there.
In these moments, it is imperative
that we turn to God and prayer…
and focus on where we have been,
where we are eventually going to be,
and count our many blessings.
Those around us do not
deserve to be brought down
with us.
Brightness through the opened gate
of God’s love and mercy is just ahead.
He will catch us as we stumble and fall,
if we will allow Him, and He will
guide us back into His peace and joy.
“Though many conflicts
can be upsetting and difficult,
see if it is possible
to regard such interactions with others
in a positive, even optimistic way…
Conflicts can become invitations
for you to grow in a transformed humanness
and overcome the destructive habits
of mind, speech and behavior.”
- Michael Lawson
“As you worry less
about going through conflict
and focus more on growing through conflict,
you will enhance that process
and experience the incomparable blessing
of being conformed to the likeness of Christ.”

Thank you for taking the time to share what God points out to you...and capturing these visual lessons just helps them become more concrete in our minds! I was thinking the other day about how we need to lose the Tel-e-vision and gain God's vision for the world around us. Then we can "Tell-His-Vision."
May God continue to bless you,
Tammi
