keep pecking away
“One day George Mueller
began praying for five of his friends.
After many months,
one of them came to the Lord.
Ten years later, two others were converted.
It took 25 years before the fourth man was saved.
Mueller persevered in prayer
until his death for the fifth friend,
and throughout those 52 years
he never gave up hoping
that he would accept Christ!
His faith was rewarded,
for soon after Mueller’s funeral
the last one was saved.”

“Even the woodpecker owes his success to the fact
that he uses his head and keeps pecking away
until he finishes the job he starts.”

Larry - Such an encouraging word. I am currently praying for an unbelieving person who is VERY CLOSE to me. It's hard, sometimes I lose hope. But that happens when I take my eyes off of God's ability to do the impossible. As Jesus said, "What is impossible for people is possible with God."
AMEN to that!
GOD BLESS!
