THE LIGHT SUPERNAL

On mountain height
The morning light
Breaks in prismatic splendor;
Down in the vale
Night waxing pale
To Day makes slow surrender.

So shines the Light
Of Truth on height
Of God’s abode eternal;
So error fails
And slowly pales
Before the Light Supernal.
