Growing together in the Spirit of Jesus Christ...

"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." - Hebrews 10:25 NIV

for the common good

This lichen is a pioneer plant.
It can grow under very harsh conditions
like bare rocks and outcroppings.

In order to accomplish this feat,
the lichen is commonly a combination
of fungi and algae.

We need each other’s love, support, and encouragement
as we continue to grow in the Spirit of Christ.

No habitat is too harsh to support growth of the spirit
if we rely on God and have at least one other person
with which to grow.

“No Christian should ever think
that he is totally independent
and doesn't need help from others,
and no one should feel excused
from the task of helping others.
The body of Christ the church
functions only when all the members
work together for the common good.”
- David H. Ahl
(bible study on Galatians)
