a still small voice
“And he said, Go forth,
and stand on the mount before the LORD.
And, behold, the LORD passed by,
and a great and strong wind rent the mountains,
and broke in pieces the rocks before the LORD;
but the LORD was not in the wind:
and after the wind an earthquake;
but the LORD was not in the earthquake:
And after the earthquake a fire;
but the LORD was not in the fire:
and after the fire a still small voice.”

The Lord has any number of ways to get our attention.
If we are quiet,
sometimes He speaks to us
in a still small voice.
Be comforted and restored…
listen with your heart.
The result is like taking the time to look
very carefully, without distractions,
and finding the simple, but glorious,
tiny simple, common Cinquefoil amidst
a yard of green grass.
