We are the Body of Christ.
We are a very diverse group... we Christians...
each of us bring to the Body our own
personality and our own personal insight.
We all are commanded
to encourage and support each other...
o offer each other our thoughts and,
if needed to gently correct through a sincere
and helpful attitude...
in summary...to grow with each other.
In these current times we must all
be aware of identity theft...
a certain amount of privacy is needed.
We must be careful not to give out
certain information and make it public.
However we, as the Body of Christ,
must also be careful of what C. S. Lewis calls
"selfish privacy".
"The sacrifice of selfish privacy
which is daily demanded of us
is daily repaid a hundredfold
in the true growth of personality
which the life of the Body encourages."
- C. S. Lewis
"There is no warrant for the‘Lone Ranger Christian Syndrome’
so popular... these days."
- James R. White
