droopy dafs

Even daffodils look a bit droopy,

discouraged, and depressed

on a damp, dismal day.

But when they experience

even the shimmer of sunlight

they stand up and shine.

When we are supressed

by shadowed sorrows

we too can stand up and shine.

So shine forth the sunny satisfaction of salvation

strengthen yourself in the stronghold of the Son.

"The LORD is my light and my salvation—

whom shall I fear?

The LORD is the stronghold of my life—

of whom shall I be afraid?"
